Hi
Outlook was working fine until now.
I was sending an email when a pop up query appeared from my Trend Internet
Security programme notifying me possible security breach. Anyway, i clicked
yes to agree not to send and since then i cannot get Outlook to function.I
get an error message stating that Outlook cannot connect to my incoming
(pop3) email server and reported error (0x80042108)
Obviously something in the security programme is preventing Outlook from
functioning.
Anyone?
Thank you

Now you know that you shouldn't have your anti virus program scanning
your email. If Trend Micro will let you, disable that feature. If it
won't let you, you'll have to uninstall and reinstall Trend Micro and
tell it not to scan email during the reinstall. Scanning email does NOT
provide any extra protection and can cause problems like you're
experiencing right now.
