Outlook shuts down when I attempt to retreive email

Outlook shuts down when I attempt to retreive email, It
allows me to send but not reteieve, can you help?

What version?

Try deleting the SRS file at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook. You can easily access it by pasting
%USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook in the Address bar of your
browser or Windows Explorer.
