Outlook should restore signature insertion toolbar button

Old outlook let me input a signature after the fact. 2003 does not. Help
does not explain why. When responting to PLAIN text mesages, since PLAIN
text ignores graphics, I cannot use HTML signatures, even after converting
from PLAIN to HTML. I wear multiple hats, and need to select sigs based upon
in which role I am writing. One fix - allow a default HTM option for all
replies. Alternatively -- allow for insertion of signatures from a toolbar
buton as in old Outlook, that let me pick the signature. (e-mail address removed)

Hi, Carderock;
If you are using Word 2003 as your e-mail editor, you can change the
signature by right-clicking it and choosing one of the others. If you are not
using Word to edit e-mails, you can insert your choice of signatures from the
toolbar or menubar, I've forgotten which, but you will see it. I don't know
about the HTML signature issue, since I use plain text by preference.
Regards,
Ian.

WordMail does not include an Insert | Signature command like the regular
Outlook editor. If you want to be able to insert a signature into a WordMail
message manually, you can create an AutoText entry for each signature. You
can then insert them with the Insert | AutoText command.

Or, create multiple signatures the normal way (Tools | Options | Mail
Format) and make one the default. If you want to use a different signature
for the current message, right-click the signature that Outlook inserted
automatically. From the pop-up menu, select either the name of the signature
you want to use or E-mail Signature to create a new one. I personally prefer
this technique. This is also the technique you need to use if you want
Outlook 2003 to automatically change your signature when you switch accounts
on an unsent message.
