Outlook should NOT autoarchive UNread messages.

I have autoarchive setup on my inbox.
However, there are times when I leave (or change it back) a message in
UNread status. Usually this is so I can follow up on it later.

When autoarchive runs, it moves everything even the messages I've flagged to
follow up or left unread.

I'd like to see some configuration setups for this. Allow me to choose if
an unread message is archived or not. Allow me to choose if an uncompleted
follow up or task is archived or not.

1) Instead of marking the item as Unread for follow up consider the real
Follow Up feature instead
2) You can mark specific items to be excluded from AutoArchive; Open the
item-> File-> Properties-> Do not AutoArchive this item.

Thank you.

Hi, Robert.

Does autoarchive skip flagged messages?
Can I have the Do not AutoArchive attribute automatically set for unread
items? And have it automatically unchecked when the item has been read?

What I do is I create a view that only shows read items with no flag or
flagged complete, and move them manually to a PST. This helps, but I would
like it to work automatically. Wouldn't it be nice? :D

Thank you very much
