How do I resend a message when Outlook says I don't have permission.

At what point in the process of trying to resend the message do you get the
error?

After I have finished adding what I need to to the email and click send. At
that point it says I don't have permission.

Click the View menu and enable the From field -- clear its contents and then
try to send the message and see what happens.

Not sure what the view menu had to do with it, but I hit resend under
actions, removed my name in the from, hit send and it went. Thanks! I never
would have thought of that.

You didn't specify your Outlook version -- in Outlook 2003 the From field
does not show by default in a new mail message; you have to enable it from
the View menu. Glad you got it working.

I have Outlook 2003. I never noticed that the from doesn't show on new
messages. It is there, filled in, when resending an already. When I remove
it as you suggested, I can resend the email. Again, many thanks!

Hi,

I have the same problem. The thing is, why is the from field being populated?
It never used to. It is now being populated with my address, so why do I
get a permission error? Everything works when I clear, but it is an anooying
step that I would like to eliminate. Any ideas?
