Outlook should have a "View Source" button on message options wind

When right clicking a message in a mailbox and choosing "options", there
should be a button in the options window to view source of the entire message
like in outlook express. This lets advanced users easily preview/read
messages from unknown/untrusted sources in a secure manner.

If you right-click in the body of an HTML email, you have a View Source
option there.

Yes, but you must open the message to do this. So it does not provide
protection from any security/privacy vulnerabilities that the message maybe
attempting to exploit. In outlook express, it can be done without opening the
message first.

That's a fair comment. I'm all about the options and I agree that should be
an option.

Of course, I'm nowhere near that paranoid or concerned about HTML email. If
you are, why wait until the message is even on your machine? Use MailWasher
and preview it on the server. )

While there are numerous tools for filtering and blocking malicious messages,
some will always come through. It is then sometimes necessary for an
administrator to be able determine how to block similar malicious messages
from entering the network without blocking legitamate messages. This can only
be done by viewing the headers and source of the message.
