Outlook should allow the deletion of attachments in sent messages

The size of my Sent Items folder is very large basically because of the
amount of e-mails that I have sent with large attachements. As I need to keep
a record of my sent messages, I would be good if Outlook allowed the deletion
of the attachements from sent messages. Most of the times those attachements
are also in the My Documens folder, so an option to only include a text
reference of the file that was sent should be included to modify the content
of the Sent Items Folder.

You can do it...open the email, right click on the attachment icon, and
select either 'cut' or (if it appears as a choice) 'remove'. The attachment
will disappear and then Outlook will ask you if you want to save the change.
Say yes.
