Outlook; setting time for end of activity should not change date.

In Outlook when setting times for an appointment the end date automatically
changes to the next day. This is irrational and time-wasting. The default
should be that the date for the end of the appointment remains the same.
System: Dell PC, recent, Vista, automatic daily updates for Vista and Office.

your problem is not with Outlook or Microsoft but rather with Dell - they
install an add-in that breaks the way Outlook handles meetings. You will
find MANY posts here where someone describes a similar problem and is
immediately asked " do you have a new Dell". Read some of those for the
exact method to remove the nasty little piece of software that cuses your
problem.

I have a Sony Vaio and I have the same problem - the end time for
appointments automatically jump to the next day and I have to manually change
back to the current day. This sounds like a microsoft problem to me. Very
frustrating and time wasting.
