Outlook sending hidden messages

Hey all,

I have seen this problem posted in these forums elsewhere, but without the same info...

Occassionally, I see in the status bar, that my outlook for some reason, sends 3 emails, even when I have sent none.

I have 3 different email accounts on my outlook. The default is gmail.

This seems to happen, whether i have any junk mail or not. is it possible that I have some spyware on my PC, that my McAfee isnt picking up?

These emails do not show up in my sent folder.

I have outlook 2007...

Any ideas?
