Outlook Send and Recieve Progress window

My Outlook 2003 Send and Recieve Progress window will not close automatically.

I have to manually close although it says all tasks are complete.

Has anyone run into this in the past.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
What state is the pushpin in the lower right hand corner of that window in?
See if clicking it changes anything
 
I think I first will need to enable status bar.
