Just installed MS Office 2003 Basic on new computer using Windows XP-includes
MS Excel, Word & Outlook. ISP is Bt Yahoo dial up with Outlook Express for
e-mail. When trying to open MS Otlook to set up for Address Book etc. cannot
get into program at all - message appears 'Unable to open default e-mail
folders. Your profile is not configured' done all checks I can think of via
Contol Panel-Mail + checked Internet connections + Properties of Outlook but
cannot see where to set profiles. Wizard will not even start on openinhg
Outlook. Help please!!!!

Go back to "Mail" in control panel and click on "profiles.
Delete the old and add a new.

Jane,

have you went into add remove programs and choose change and select repair.
If that doesn't work I would reinstall office. Male sure you reboot after the
reapir.
