Outlook Runtime Error? HELP

When I try to open an Outlook 2000 email, I got the following error message.

"Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error

Program C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\Outlook.exe abnormal
program termination"

And the Outlook just close. I am running Windows XPP.

Any suggestions.

I am having the same problem. Just installed Office 2000
on a new computer with XP Home Edition. I receive the
same error message about every other time I start
Outlook. Outlook ends after the error message and starts
normally the next time I try. I just installed SP3 for
Outlook 2000 and wonder if the problem is related. Will
let you know if I find a fix.
