Outlook rules

Is there a way to use only numerals within an Outlook
rule? Any rule I create with numerals are ignored.
Specifically, based upon a certain set of numerals within
a senders address I want to then forward that email to
another email account.

how does the rule read? Are you using one that says in the To field or one
that looks forwards in the header?

The rule reads as follows:

Apply this rule after the message arrives with 0089_ in
the senders's address
forward it to (e-mail address removed)

I edited the rule to look as follows:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
with '0089_' or '0089' or '0089*' in the message header
forward it to (e-mail address removed)

Still no success. I tried using them individually in the
rule too. I appreciate your help. Any other ideas?

Test it by adding a flag or importance level in place of forward - this will
let us know if it's failing on forward.

I edited the rule to mark an importance level of high with
no success. Just to let you know, when I change what to
look from numerals to alpha characters the rule works just
fine. The rule ignores the numeric characters. For
example, the senders address is (e-mail address removed).
The rule will not work for 0089, but it will work when I
use smith.

I haven't tried this, but have you tried, "0089_"?
