I have a pst on my pc and have mail delivered to the pst. I have done some
research about this message
"One or more tules cannot be uploaded to Microsoft Exchange and have been
deactivated. This could be because some of the parameters are not supported,
or there is insufficient space to store all of your rules"

No matter what I do, it gives me that message. I have 11 rules and whenever
I try to add one or more it gives me that same message. I tried to shorten
name of rules. I can add to existing rules and I don't get the message.

Once again my email is stored to a pst and not stored on the server.

Thanks.

The number of rules is irrelevant. Using a local PST file is
irrelevant if you are connecting to an Exchange mail host. Exchange
allots 32KB per mailbox for rules *storage*. Maybe you have one, or
more rules, with a huge number of operands, like one that checks for
hundreds of phrases in the Subject header or has dozens or hundreds of
e-mail addresses in a rule checking the From header.

Blocked Senders or a blacklist rule should only have a dozen, or less,
e-mail addresses listed. Only the ignorant try to use these to block
spam. Spammers never use their own e-mail address. They use a bogus
e-mail address or usurp someone else's. They or their trojan mailers
change the e-mail address on every crop of crap they spew. Use a real
anti-spam solution to get rid of spam, not a blacklist. Blocked
Senders or a blacklist rule on e-mail addresses only works on unwanted
senders that ALWAYS use the same e-mail address, and that doesn't
include spammers.

Thanks for the reply, I don't use the junk mail filter, I do that on server
side coming in.
I didn't know it was still limited even if you used a PST, thanks for that
bit of information. I will check over my rules I guess.
