Outlook reinstall

I am trying to reinstall Outlook 2003 from CD on my desktop. Shortly after
starting, the following error message comes up: "a required installation file
CM561401.CAB could not be found." I am prompted to pick an "original
installation source", which would be the CD. But this does not work. I am not
be able to get past this point in the installation. (I have already
uninstalled Outlook 2003 from this computer.) what is going on?

Hi,

This could be an issue when there is trouble reading from the Disc.
Try installing Office from a CD-Drive and not a DVD Drive(If you are
installing it from a DVD Drive)

If not, try creating a Office flat on the Desktop by copying the files from
the Disc to a folder on the Desktop. Then, install from the 'Setup.exe' file
from the Office Flat.

If this fails, delete the contents of the folder C:\MSOCACHE. Restart the
computer.

Hope this works...

Thanks,

Mittu
