Thanks for any response,

I have outlook running that has been connecting to a pop server for a while.
I recently installed exchange and would like to make a smooth transition so
all the messages to into the exchange mailbox and everything converts over.
Can someone give me a link or a quick step by step to converting an outlook
2003 that was poping ie .pst file to a new exchange environment

Thanks

HI Burnabyryan,

There are several ways to migrate from pst to exchange. How many mailboxes
are you looking to move?

Brent,

I dont think I have to move mailboxes I just have two client computers that
have been using outlook connecting to pop3 servers. I just installed the
exchange 2003 now I want theire pst contents to go into the mailbox. So its
just 2.

Thanks very much

I will do one client laptops outlook at a time 2003

Thx

Ok, the process is pretty straight forward then.

1. Setup the Mail Profile to use one of the mailboxes on the server
2. Open outlook, click file, import export,
3. Select import from another file or program, then next
4. select PST at the bottom of the list, click next
5. Select the location of the .pst
6. Select the import items into mailbox folder
7. Your Done!

I also found this walk thru of the same steps:
