Outlook protocol error when sending email

I am having a similar problem but the message is from McAfee. It tells me this:
Response received:550 relaying mail to "(e-mail address removed)" is not
allowed. Consult the oline help for your email program for more information
on this error. Contact your email provider of the problem persists. When I
send a test email through Outlook it goes through without any problems. I
checked the outgoing email virus scan on McAfee and disabled it. Still having
problems. This only occurs when I am using wireless access anywhere other
than my home.

Usually that's the result of contacting your SMTP (outgoing mail) server
while not on the same network as it. It's a precaution to cut down on
spammers using it. Why you're not seeing it in Outlook is more of a
question.
