I have windows xp pro and use outlook as my email. I can not get outlook to store my passward even though I check remember my password. Is there a way to make this happen? I am sick of putting in my password all day. I never had this problem with outlook express. Can I change over all my kept emails and contact information to outlook express if I can not get outlook to keep my password? (e-mail address removed)

Hi - best to post Outlook questions to microsoft.public.outlook.

Also note: Note - posting your valid e-mail address in a newsgroup post, or
in your news account settings, is a surefire way to get spam and SWEN and
other viruses sent to you....see http://www.mailmsg.com/SPAM_munging.htm for
help in the future, but note that now that your address is out there,
there's not much you can do other than changing your address.

That said, see the following:

For all Outlook versions on Windows XP (just ignore the parts that refer to
Outlook Express):

If you are still having problems after applying both the SP 1 & 2 patches,
then see if this article addresses your problemL

Delete your account from outlook, close outlook, reopen outlook, enter your
account back in. Should remember now.
