Outlook POP 3 and SMTP

Is there any way to configure OUtlook so that email can
come in through one provider and be sent out using
another. Example mail comes in addresed to
(e-mail address removed) but when is sent out it goes out as
(e-mail address removed).
I tried just setting the smtp and POP 3 servers to the
proper locations but the mail is blocked from going out.

Hi Tom,

I think Tedd's right. I do this with several different domains, and had to
set up an account for each one.

You also need to make sure your ISP will let you send messages with a
different domain component in the address. Some will do it anyway, others
may need to prove that you own the other domains before doing it. I guess
this is a way for ISPs to prevent spam originating from their systems.

One more thing, you might want to clear the "Include this account when
receiving mail or synchronizing" check box for all but the actual account
that receives email. Otherwise you might find you receive duplicate
messages. This assumes all your email is routed in from a single source
([email protected] in your examples).

Justin.

You may need to set up authentication to the outgoing server (on the
"Outgoing Server" tab of your account) to have the proper authentication
information for the provider you're using to send.
