Outlook "pointers"lost

I started Outlook from a folder (Avatar) and a new
outlook started without access to all my data?? How do I
fix my goof up?
 
Please provide some usable details.

What is "avatar"?

What do you mean a new "Outlook"?

Is this Outlook or Outlook Express?

What do you find if you search for a .pst file and try to open it in
Outlook?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
