My Outlook says it needs a password before I can go in and do anything. Is
there a certain password that I need to be typing in? Or do I need to get a
hold of Microsoft and have them reset my outlook? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Microsoft can't reset an Outlook password. Since I don't have a copy, you
will have to wait for somebody with Outlook Experience to help out.

That would likely be the Password for your e-mail account with your ISP.

At exactly what point does this appear? What is the dialogue's title? What
version of Outlook? Are you keeping your data in a PST? While others
speculate the prompt is for your mail account, I suspect it is for the PST -
the PST is password-protected. If this is the case and you did not
specifically add the password to the PST, then your PST has been damaged. We
may be able to determine the problem is you are more explicit in your
description, making sure you goive configuration information such as I name.
