Outlook not updating Messages

Guest

Background info:
Exchange 200 Server
Windows XP Client PC
BlackBerry Enterprise Server
- Redirects email to both inbox in Outlook and BlackBerry handheld
Microsoft Office XP

Problem:
When I receive new emails the BlackBerry starts vibrating, so I know that
there are new emails. However, they don't pop up on Outlook. If I click on
a different message, or basically do anything in Outlook the inbox will
populate with all of the new messages. Outlook is set to look for new
messages every 1 minute on the server.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

A one minute send/receive interval is way too low. Ten minutes is
recommended.

Your problem seems to be a UDP issue. See if something in one of these
articles helps:

What method are you using to connect to the Exchange server with Outlook?
POP? You shouldn't need to set Outlook to look for new messages; it
should receive them automatically as the server does. Are you using a
..PST file for default delivery location or the Exchange mailbox?

That symptom is usually a sign of an RPC issue between the Outlook client
and the Exchange server. Is there a firewall between them?
