Outlook not synchronising with Treo 500

Outlook was working fine until suddenly it stopped synchronising. Although
the message said "synchronising" and it went through the motions, there was
an exclamation mark in the hot sync symbol and no connection so no transfer
of info from my computer to my Treo 500.

Help to resolve this problem would be most appreciated.

It's not Outlook that does the synchronizing but the HotSync application.
I'd start with troubleshooting that application first and check if they keep
a log file with an error code which you look up or report to their support
channels for assitance.

Hi Roady,
Thanks for your suggestion: I did the troubleshooting procedure and it said
at the end: No additional known issues have been found. But the Active Sync
icon still has a "!" over it and not sync occurs.

If you have any other ideas, I'd appreciate your help again.
