Outlook not sending mail out

My outlook seems to be working right. i receive mail but
mail in the outbox never leaves. what is going on here?

do you use the right SMTP Server?
Is there any failure message?
 
Did you ever get a fix for this? I am having the same
problem with OUtlook 2002 and Outlook Express 6 when
trying to send mail using my hotmail account. It used to
work fine. All of a sudden it doesn't.
