outlook not remembering passwords

i am moving all our users from pop to hosted exchange server
since the move outlook doesnt remember the password any more even though I
ask it too.

We are using windows XP pro SP3 and outlook 2007 with all fixes and
patches installed.

I have removed the email profiles and made a new one but still it doesnt
remeber the exchange account password

Any suggestions please

Which method of authentication is supported by the ISP?
It needs to support NTLM authentication in order to be able to save the
password. You cannot save passwords with Basic authentication.
