Outlook not receiving mail from exchange but able to send

Outlook 2003 has stopped receiving mail from my exchange server. Its been
working fine for 3 years, now nothing. All the other accounts work fine,
just the one cant receive mail. The weird thing is I can send mail from
outlook just fine. Also, if i use the webmail system, i receive mail just
fine with this account.

I have tried checking the smtp connectors, reinstall outlook, use outlook on
different machines. no luck,
Any ideas?

Time to talk to your Exchange admins.

I dont see how SMTP connectors even enter into the situation you describe,
since SMTP is not part of the Exchange interface with Outlook (usually) and
even it it were, it's for outgoing messages, not incoming ones.

I was referring to the smtp in active directory

nevermind i just backed up the mail i had, deleted that account from the
domain and recreated/restored. works fine now
