Outlook not prompting for profile

I have a W2000 OS w/ Outlook 2000 and 2 profiles. I have
checked the "prompt for a profile to be used" checked
under Tools, Options, Mail Services. It only prompts upon
a reboot/startup. Shouldn't you be able to exit Outlook
and then go back in and it prompt?

I get the same problem at home. Sometimes it prompts me,
and sometimes it doesn't. I wait several minutes after
closing it before trying to open with a new profile. I'm
curious to see what responses you get.

I suppose something Outlook isn´t stopped. See if the process outlook.exe is
running. There could be a tool as Active Sync having control over outlook.
If you stop/kill outlook it will prompt you again on startup.
