Outlook not able to remember my Passwors

Hi,

I have Outlook 2002 installed on Windows XP pro platform.
I don't know why Outlook does not retain my password even
if I select to remember my password. After I type the
password and select to remember it, I am able to send and
receive email. But next time when I open the Outlook, it
still pop up for user name and password.
