Outlook Newbee Please help

Thomas Grassi

I have Office XP Outlook 2002 SP3
Ever since I changed ISP providers I keep getting the account signon screen
asking me to save the password I check the box every time and it keeps
coming up. Do I need to create a new profile? I exported all my email and
was going to delete the account and try again but will that work or do I
need to create another profile?

All I did was change the properties on the Email Accounts when I changed the
ISP provider

I deleted my account and profile. Then I created a new profile and POP3
account.
And it still happens.

Any help would be great

Thanks

Tom

Did you go and see in your Mail Account profile if the password is correct
and set properly to remember password

Yes I did a thousand times the remember password box is checked and I have
retyped the password also several times. If I leave outlook open which I
always do so I get emails regularly. Every so often I get the username
dialog box and the password box is not checked. Maybe the setting is not
being saved maybe somewhere in the registry is the problem. Any other
thoughts?

Thanks

Tom
