outlook memory buffer

hi,
mine is a simple one, i was wondering whether the messages on outlook are
kept on the hard disk of my computer or with in the files that are installed
with outlook. i need help on this one. thanks

Usually kept in a (hidden) file on your hard drive with a PST extension.
Messages aren't saved individually. Right-click on the root folder, select
Properties ....select the General tab and then Advanced and you will locate
it.
