Outlook Meeting Update Error

User try to send a meeting update - clicks on "send update" she gets the
error message "unable to send to one or more delegates" when she clicks ok
she is asked if she would like to send out the update anyway. she clicks yes
and then she get the error "an unexpected error has occured"
User tries to send a meeting update from her managers calendar.

I found this question in a dozen places via Google, but in not one did I see a reply. What I figured out for my particular case was that the manager had put a personal DL in the request, which the delegate did not have access to, nor a copy of, so it was seeing that entry as invalid.
