outlook login to exchange

Some of my users are now being prompted by a screen asking for "username,
password, domain" when attempting to open Outlook in order to view their
exchange email.

The users login to to W2k domain and should be able to get their exchange
2000 email. This "logon" screen just started after about a year of using
the system.

I am experiencing this same issue with a couple of users. Over the weekend I
patched my server with KB829436 as well as the other security hotfixes that
were released on Oct 15. I am inclined to believe there may be a potential
link but I just don't have enough information yet.
