Outlook Outlook issue

I have Windows XP and Outlook 2000. When I open my Outlook I get an error msg that says, "Operation Failed" and then click OK and then it closes Outlook. Please tell me how to fix this Problem

That is it. It opens Outlook briefly and then the error msg pops up and then I click the OK button in the msg and it closes Outlook at the same time.

Same Problem

I have the exact same problem. There is no other additional information on the error message other than "Operation Failed". I created a new account under a different profile in outlook with the identical info from my problem account, and the new account works. The only problem now is that I don't have access to my old emails or address book.

Any one who can help...........PLEASE!!!!!!!!
