Outlook is trying to retrieve data from Microsoft Exchange Server

I am having exchange 2k standard edition and all clients using outlook 2003
since last 3 months all outlook client getting pop-up "outlook is trying to
retrieve data from exchange server"
Not able understand this plz help me out.
 
So what changed in your network? How is the Exchange server performing? Do
some performance monitoring on the Exchange server (from another computer)
and run the EXBPA tool to scan the Exchange server for possible
misconfigurations.
