Hello

What's wrong with my Outlook ?
It take salmost 2 minutes to open and to see my e-mail
And i even do not automatically get check for new mail
I just wait 2 mins and then hit the send/receive button
That also takes maybe 2 to 3 minutes to get all my e-mails in

Maybe my inbox is too big ?
There are maybe 900 emails in it
The oldest email in it is almost one year old.
How can i make my inbox smaller and still have fast access to these e-mails
?

Another issue:
I have 19 e-mail accounts. Does that influence the speed ?

Version of OL?
The size of the pst is? (Properties) in mb not # of mail
Initially; run Detect/Repair and run the inbox repair tool, scanpst.exe
Do you have your AV app scanning mail?
Any other addins in OL, eg Fax, sync tools?

I use Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 (11.5...)

file size and date:
outlook1.pst 371025 kB 22.07.2006
archive.pst 299601 kB 22.07.2006
sent.pst 128977 kb 09.07.2006
inbox.pst 79377 kb 09.07.2006
outlook.pst 302288 14.10.2005

where do i get that scanpst.exe ?

I use AVG as a virus scanner,
i used to use SpamBayes as a spamfilter,
(All the buttons are still in my menu, also the "JunkSuspects" directory is
still in my outlook list. How can i remove all that ?)
but i do not use it any longer.

I have no fax, no sync tools

scanpst.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033 or a simple search will
show location

If OL menu bar was updated by the installation of SpamBayes I would assume
that uninstalling SpamBayes would remove these, but as I've never used
Spambayes I couldnt be sure.
You could search for outcmd.dat and delete any found, (with OL closed) this
will reset your OL menu bar
