outlook is Sending Ghost emails

With every send/recieve, outlook shows 'sending 1 of 4'. Most times there is
nothing in the outbox. I get an error in the bottom right corner. I am able
to send AND recieve all my personal emails but need to know what these are.
spyware cant find anything. Any ideas?

Could it be Read Receipts? Check your settings in Tools, options, Email
Options, Tracking. Select "Ask Me" to monitor receipts.
