how do I set up my outlook to send email when away from office?

I spoke to my ISP and they said I can not send email from outlook 2007
because of a setting in outlook, or the outlook program has a problem. Here
is the deal. I can send/recieve emails from my office. When I go outside of
the office I can only recieve email at most locations. I cant send anything.
If I go into my ISP email account, I can send/recieve from there, but when
outlook is used, no dice. Any idea why I cant send emails when out of the
office? I have changed about every setting I can think of within Outlook 2007.
Thanx,
Jeff

All "can't send when away from my office/home" problems are generally
because you cannot be authenticated on your ISP's smtp server. Most ISPs
only allow access to their smtp server from their own customers connected to
the internet via them.

When you are away, you are using another internet connection and your ISP
has no idea that you are one of their customers. Find an ISP that allows POP
before Send or SMTP Authentication. Or get a google mail account and use
google's smtp server to send.
