Outlook is putting '@' in front of FAX Numbers

We recently finished an update from Microsoft, and one of the changes has
added an '@' symbol in front of the fax numbers- now our 1000 fax
distruibution lists will not fax at all.
I have tried everything I can think of, but it always inserts the '@' back in.

HELP!!!!

Thank you for the response. Our managed care company did the update to the
server for SBS 2003; they did quite a number of them, and we are not sure
which one changed the configurations for Outlook/Fax. The strange thing is it
is only in the distribution lists- and even when I redo them, it adds the
bloody '@'.

Never heard of a problem like that. I would contact the company that
installed the updates.

Hence I am on here trying to figure it out.
