Outlook incoming message fonts

Ray

All my incoming outlook 2002 messages are converted to
one font. If i send a note to myself containing different
fonts and styles they are all converted to the same font
when i receive the message. I don't see any options for
this.

Any clues?

Thanks Ray

I don't have 2002 here to write this but this may
help (may not):

Open Outlook
Select TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS
Select the MAIL FORMAT tab
Click the FONTS... button
See if you have turned on the option to "Always use
my fonts" (Or something like that)

Nikki,
There is no such option, The font options are for
composing and replying, not for incoming mail.

Are the emails coming in as "Plain Text" or
something else?

Are you using Word as your email editor?
What format do you have set as your default for email?

Nikki,
Thanks for the followup. I reset all of my defaults using
detect/repair. It seems to have helped. BTW ... there is
one setting in options/fonts where you specify what font
to use when plain text is received. I had changed this
which was adding to the confusion. I think I'm ok now.
Thanks
Ray
