They are not in deleted file

Check your View Settings. They must be set to show only unread messages.
Change it to Show All Messages.
 
Your view is set to display only unread messages. To correct this, be in
your inbox and then click on view (on the menu bar) then current view then
click messages.

Presto!!!!

since they are disapearing before I read them. I think it
is some kink of virus or worm.
