Outlook inbox in Office 2007

My inbox doesn't list both the Contacts and the Calendar folders in the Mial
Folders area on the left. These two icons, though appear in the left bottom
corner. My impression, though, is that data contained in these two categories
are not indexed properly, and not considered part of my inbox.

OL 2003 introduced the navigation pane which splits the folders in views
containing folders of a specific type. Press Ctrl+6 if you want to see the
old format. The folders are all stored in the same message store, just as
with previous versions, only the view is split.

what is happening that you don't think the folders are indexed?
