Outlook Inbox filing reverts back to Inbox

I have two users, both XP SP2, Outlook 2003. They both move emails from
their Inbox to a folder within their Inbox all day and after some time all
the emails they moved from the Inbox to a specified folder gets moved back to
the Inbox without the user doing it. Any ideas?

Hard to say without knowing which mail account we are talking about here.
Exchange perhaps? Check for sync issues and whether changes they make
locally actually reflect within OWA as well.

We are using Exchange 2003 and the Webmail reflects the same problem.

So you means that it happens even when they don't use Outlook for a few days
but OWA instead?
Then there is something going on at server-side.
