Outlook IMAP problem

My boss has Outlook 2003 and his former assistant installed an "Inbox in
imap.aol.com" folder and now almost all of my boss' e-mails go into this
folder instead of the regular Inbox. My boss does not want this. This seems
to also be causing problems with sending e-mails. The are e-mails that have
been in his Outbox for days now. Please help

What's the default email account on that machine? Also, where are the email
items coming from in the first place?

Hi Vince,
When I check under e-mail accounts it says "imap.aol.com Type: IMAP/SMTP
(Default)" The e-mails come from all types of accounts. My boss has the same
e-mail address he has always had but for some reason 95% of his e-mails go
into this new folder. It is strange because, as I look through the history,
only about 1 e-mail a week would go in the IMAP folder before. The sudden
transfer of e-mails to the "Inbox in imap.aol.com" is totally unexpected. My
boss uses his Blackberry to view his e-mail sometimes, I don't know if this
is part of the problem. Thanks

It might be the other way around. A rule might have been deleted.
IMAP Messages should by default always be delivered into the Inbox of
the IMAP account. The only way to get them into a PST or elsewhere is
using rules.
