Outlook - How to download certain dates from gmail

Help! I want to download / remove certain dates from gmail to outlook
(separate folder)? I am running out of room on gmail and I would like to use
a specific folder to remove 2005 - 2007 emails to outlook.

Where do you get stuck?

Move them to a personal folder;
File-> New-> Outlook Data File...
