Please help.

I am using outlook 2002 with a pst file on my pc. The
messages are set to be delivered to the pst file.

However when i have more than 10 messages to be tranferred
from my Exchange Inbox to the pst file the outlook freezes
with no error messages. I have applied all the latest
service packs but still the problem remains.

Does anyone have the answer to this problem.

thanx

There are various reasons this could possibly be happening

I would check that the personal folder is not having any corruption issues (or errors) associated with it. Locate the scanpst.exe and run a scan on it

I would verify that your mailbox on the Exchange server is not over its limit or having any other issues that could be causing this issue

I would also run a detect and repair on your Outlook. Within Outlook I believe it is under Help. Or you can go to add/remove programs

Finally, if you have an Exchange server is there a reason why the email is being delivered to a personal folder. Having it delivred to the exchange allows for backups, colloboration, etc.. Just curious
