Outlook Filters

After installing latest windows update to win2k pro
yesterday I can no longer create new rules for messages. I
recieve the error message rule could not be applied check
your folder permissions. I am not using Exchange server, I
have pop3 mail I have administrator privileges on this
machine. My office distro is 2k but I am running Outlook
2002 sp3. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem. It started occuring when Outlook hung and I forced a reboot. No errors were found when Outlook started up again and checked the personal folders file.
