I have changed from a POP account to a HTTP account.

1. I cannot modify my “local†folder at all and it continues to open
“-“even though I never use it and I am closing it all day long. How can I
disable or hide the “local†folder?

2. The “sent†folder on my new folders only displays the “from†of the
email instead of the “to†as it does on the “local†folder. On the web the
“to†shows correctly. How can I change the ‘from†to “toâ€.

As you are using the horrible web interface, look under Internet Explorer.
Or, alternatively, use OE as your news reader and subscribe to
msnews.microsoft.com. MUCH easier.
