then re-save it? Basically, we want to make notations on

One way is to forward it to yourself and make whatever
annotations you want on the forwarded message before clicking
Send.

You might consider copy and past to a text editor. That way it would be more
flexible in the way you can edit and file/share it.

yes forward it back to yourself edit and save hold

delete down to get rid of excess blah blah
