outlook express

can someone help me
i cant send emails from outlook express. if i want 2 send emails i have 2 do it from eircom page' i dont know how 2 activate it, i rang eircom but i might aswell be talking 2 myself... its probably a simple thing but i cant do it... any help.......

First, it is really helpful when you want to communicate with other
people to write in complete sentences using proper grammar. Second, go
to your ISP's website and write down the settings for email. You will
normally be looking for the name of the POP3 server (to receive mail)
and the SMTP server (to send mail). Sometimes they can have the same
name. It might be something like pop.eircom.com or mail.eircom.com. You
will also have to know your username and password (for the ISP, not
Windows). Your ISP might even have a support webpage on how to set up
mail in Outlook Express. If not, open up the Help files in Outlook
Express and read how to set up a mail account.

thanks 4 replying malke..
but im none the wiser' everthing is so confusing 2 me. all i want 2 do is send emails from outlook express, i cant do that, im new 2 this thats why i dont have a clue,i went through all the options and websites' i might aswell be scratching my back side. i dont mind emailing from eircom page its just u have 2 connect everytime. thanks again malke.......

well PA bear.....
when i try 2 send emails. its executing then failed, then i get a list of errors about servers. im with eircom and rang them and went 2 thier website but its like i have 2 take a degree something 2 understand it' eircom dont have a direct line 4 problems like this, a phone company without a direct line theres got 2 be something wrong.......
maybe i have 2 see somebody in my area that is connected, and they can show me?
ive given up at this stage now. thanks again PA bear, any ideas will be most welcome.

VBG to PA Bear who obviously speaks your language. I won't attempt it,
however. Call a local computer tech support person to come to your
house and set up your machine and teach you how to do a few simple but
enjoyable things. Buy a good beginner's book like "Windows XP For
Dummies" (bad title, but this series is really good). You'll be happier
and more productive.
