Hello,
In the 'NEW MESSAGE WINDOW' section of Outlook Express,
for my Windows XP set up,I really would like to make my
choice of font size to become the default setting. Every
time I open a new message window the font size is shown
as 10. Ok,I know how to to change it to 12, but it still
opens at 10. I have been told this is an unfortunate
feature of Outlook Express. Has anybody else had this
problem, and can anything be done about it?

Gerry

Is HTML your default for new messages?

Try creating a new Named Identity and see if your selection "sticks".

IE Tools>Internet Options>General>Accessibility> Is anything checked here?

Sorry about that, I am still getting usedto this system.
Anyway, I have checked HTML is the default for new
messages.

Cant inderstand about new Named Identity and selection.

There are no checks shown in Accessibility.

276435 is beyond me!

Good news! 232001 made sense and after following the
instructions the problem of font size changing sometimes
after pressing enter has beem solved.

That still leaves the other problem of getting the font
to default to the choice I have made when opening a new
message window.

Thanks for your help so far,

Gerry
